Power Center
Power Center (the following is a documentation of what I HAD done and NOT what will work; please read it as a reference and make sure you have some basic electrical knowledge before attempting projects dealing with electricity. Don't blame me if you set anything on fire! :) )
Six wall outlets and switches were linked to two 15A circuits to power all the equipment and lights for the tank. I used to have about six power strips.....but that took a lot of room and whenever I need to turn off a device, I had to look for the specific strip. With this DIY project, everything is found at a central place and timers can be plugged without taking a lot of room. The original idea came from another website, and I'll give the author credit as soon as I find the link again. I modified the other design slightly with the outlets running on separate circuits. This way not all metal halide will run off the same 15A circuit.

Outlets were installed on outer rows and rotated 180 degrees to accomodate timers to be plugged in without taking up extra space)
